OUR STORY
Built in Brooklyn.
Built with intent.
The story of Wimzy Wand — a metal fabricator, a curious cat, and a patent pending invention that started with a simple question.
The Problem
My cat was bored. Not the kind of bored where they yawn and stretch — the kind where they watch string wands with the same detached look they give a traffic cone.
"The problem wasn't the feathers. The problem was the tether. String gives you string motion. I needed something that could generate genuinely unpredictable output from minimal input."
The Invention
The chain idea came from understanding inertia. A weighted chain doesn't just transmit motion — it transforms it. Each link stores momentum independently and releases it with a slight delay.
The Studio
Every Wimzy Wand is made by hand in my studio on Hart Street in Bushwick. The stainless steel chain. The natural hardwood handle. The feather lure.
Patent Pending
The patent covers the momentum-delay chain mechanism. The physics is protected.
